Cathy Diane Hernandez

November 18, 1955 - July 2, 2020 Cathy Diane Hernandez was born to the parents of James Edward Bowman and Birtie Elnora Langston Bowman on November 18, 1955 in Rusk, TX. Cathy loved her family more than words. She had a giving heart and was always there for her family. She nurtured her siblings, husband, Dan, who she married on May 25, 1997; her two children, Diane and Trey, cousins and friends. Her life will be remembered as a life of caring for others. Cathy loved the Lord and was furiously loyal to her family. She will be greatly missed and was loved beyond words. Cathy is preceded in death by both parents James and Birtie Bowman, and daughter Diane Elaine Hernandez. Left to continue Cathy’s legacy are husband Dan Hernandez; son, Trey Hernandez, Grapeland, TX; brothers James Bowman and wife Janice, New Caney, TX, and Bruce Bowman and wife Kim, Cleveland, TX; sisters Connie Mulvehill and husband Edward, Houston, TX; two (2) grandchildren Brayden Daniels and Bradley Hernandez; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
