Bertha Turner Bryant was born May 29, 1951 to Edward and Daisy Mae Turner. She grew up in Dallas, TX and graduated from James Madison High School, Class of 1969.
Bertha loved to play cards and dominoes and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. People were drawn to Bertha’s outgoing and friendly personality.
She transitioned suddenly on July 8, 2022. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Bertha is preceded in death by both parents, Edward Turner and Daisy Mae Turner; daughter Kimberly Chryar, sister Geneva Jones and brothers James Tryon and Wilbert Turner; brothers-in-law Robert Jones and Gus L. Walker.
Left to cherish her memories of love and laughter is her loving husband, Ronnie Bryant; sons Rodney Turner, and Clayton Turner of Dallas, TX; grandsons Cedrick Turner, of Grapeland, TX and Elijah Houston of Dallas, TX; and one great-grandchild; sisters Ella Broussard, and Sandra Walker of Grapeland, TX; nieces Jeannie Griffin, Marva Sanders, Andrea Clinton, Jackie Tryon, Tonie Tryon, Dawn Comeaux; special niece Kristen Clinton, Paige Moffett, Erin Moffett; nephew James Tryon, Jr.; special cousin Sharon Hendricks; special friend Brenda Smith; and all her friends in Houston, TX, who she loved, it’s too many to name, but you know who you are; and a host other relatives and friends.
