On April 10, 1942, Eddie B. Tillis was born to the late Johnny Lee and Velma Tillis in Grapeland, Texas.
He grew up in the New Salem Community and accepted Christ at New Salem Baptist Church in Grapeland, TX.
Eddie attended W.R. Banks School, Grapeland, TX and worked for the City of Grapeland, Vulcraft, the City of Houston, and M.D. Flucks in Houston, TX.
On September 20, 1976, he married Jessie Lee Davis. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church, Grapeland, TX.
Eddie, who shared seventy-three (73) years on earth, entered eternal rest on Friday, July 24, 2015.
