Ester Louise Lewis was born on December 11, 1948, in Grapeland, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Eudia Bell Lewis, her sister Linda Davis, and her brother Jessie Lewis.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Georgia Lewis of La Marque, Texas; her brothers John Lewis (Josie) of Dallas, Texas, and George Lewis of Dallas, Texas; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Ester worked for Grapeland ISD and also in domestic services. She enjoyed fishing and working puzzles, and she loved her family deeply. Above all, she loved God with her whole heart. Ester was a devoted, faithful member of Rising Star Baptist Church in Grapeland, Texas.
