Ewar was born on July 24, 1945 to Ewar and Willie May Nelson. He was a Carpenter by trade. Ewar was a self taught Artist and Sculptor.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers , Don and Johnnie.
He is survived by his daughters. Cowana Stewart, Regina Nelson and Ewana Nelson Glass (DeMarcus),brother, Joe Nelson, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and other relatives.
