Fronesther was born the first of ten (10) children to Mr. Richard Lee Gilmore and Mrs. Audrey Mae Burns. She spent her early years in the Cedar Branch Community, where she was educated before attending W.R. Banks Schools.
She later moved to California, where she met and married Roy Baker, no children were born to this union. While residing in California, she worked numerous jobs.
Returning back to Grapeland, she reunited with her home church, Cedar Branch Missionary Baptist Church.
She was employed at the Grapeland Nursing Center where she was recognized for her outstanding work. After retiring, she spent her latter years at the family home in Augusta, TX. She occasionally took trips to visit family and enjoyed attending the Annual Peanut Festival and parade.
Fronesther departed this life on Saturday, July 16, at Palestine Regional Medical Center in Palestine, TX.
Fronesther is preceded in death by both parents, Mr. Richard Lee Gilmore and Mrs. Audrey Mae Burns; sister Anner P. Houston; brothers, Donald Lee Perkins, Freddie C. Potts, and Paul Potts.hHo
Left to cherish her memories are brothers, Theodore Holmes, and Robert Green, both of Houston, TX, sisters, Charles Stella Fry, Jackson, MS, Patricia Lawrie, and Marilyn (Rickey) Walker, both of Grapeland, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friend.
