Gloria J. Alvarado was called home to be with our savior on October 14, 2021 after losing her battle with Delta Covid Pneumonia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Perkins who raised her in Jacinto City, TX, her youngest sibling, Ricki Lee Perkins, ex-husband, Larry I Flash and let's not forget, Patrick N Rowan.
She leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Carolyn J. Stapleton, husband Guy Stapleton of Crockett, and Lisa Annan, husband John Annan of California; four grandchildren; two from Carolyn - Michael Angelo and Elizabeth Ann Cira; and two from Lisa - Alexandria Annan and Hunter Annan; one great granddaughter, Isobel Grace Annan, one great grandson, Isaac David Cira; long time partner - Raymond Alvarado; two sisters Linda Otmishi, husband Homayoun Otmishi and Joan Perkins, one brother Larry Perkins, wife Shirley Perkins; and many nieces and nephews that she spoiled who loved her deeply.
Gloria graduated the class of '62 at Galena Park High in Galena Park, Texas. She worked for Dresser Rand/Emerson for over 40 years. She had numerous friends there that she considered family.
