Kenneth Walker Peters - beloved son of James Mike Peters and Thelma Lucille Clark Peters, was born February 22, 1950 in Dallas, TX.
He was preceded in death by both parents and youngest brother, Keith Michael Peters. He is survived by his wife, Sarah, son William, and daughter Richelle, plus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dr. Peters earned his medical degree in 1975 from the University of Mississippi and earned his law degree in 2003 from South Texas College of Law.
Dr. Peters enlisted in the United States Army Medical Corp Reserves in 1984 and served for 20 years. He was activated for both Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom. His unit was deployed on multiple humanitarian missions throughout his 20 years of service.
Dr. Peters had an intense sense of duty to his family and his country. He was faithful to both throughout his life.
He loved spending time with many lifelong friends, especially Royce James and Robert Cole. He loved history, music, and nature.
He will be sorely missed.
