Updated: Oct 7

On April 8, 2016, in Houston, Texas a bouncing baby boy was born to

A’Chandrious Spivey and Wilbon Spivey, III, whom they named Kingston

Glenn Spivey.

Kingston was reared in Huntsville, Texas, and attended Gibbs Pre-K,

Huntsville Elementary, and Samuel Walker Houston Elementary.

Though his time on earth was brief, Kingston lived with joy, purpose, and a

personality that could light up the room.

Kingston was baptized and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was an

active and faithful member of First Missionary Baptist Church, attending

Sunday School regularly and singing proudly in the choir. A proud member

of the Boys and Girls Club, Kingston was full of energy and always on the go.

He played football with passion and looked forward to playing soccer and

joining the track team this fall. Known as the family comedian, he kept

everyone laughing with his quick wit, silly jokes, and unforgettable facial

expressions. He was confident and often reminded those around him that he

knew he was handsome-often seen with one hand thoughtfully resting on

his chin, striking his signature pose. His memory will live on through the

countless lives he touched with his humor, kindness, and joyful spirit.

He departed this life on September 3, 2025, in Berea, Texas. Awaiting him in

heaven were his grandfathers, Glenn Dale Lamb, Sr. and Wilbon Spivey, Jr.

His memory will be forever cherished by his father, Wilbon Spivey, III.: his

mother, A’Chandrious Spivey; brothers, Chance Spivey and Jaiden Spivey;

sisters, Brooklyn Spivey and London Spivey; grandparents, Amanda and Ron

Sparks and Peggy and Dennis Jenkins; aunts, Tyeana Lamb, Chelci Lamb,

Eumyhia Okperuvwe (John), LaTundra Williams (Terry), Tamiki Parks (Sean),

and Chandra Barrios; uncles, Glenn Dale Lamb, Jr. (Sharnesa), Ron Sparks

(Ashley), Frank York, Joe Randall, Bryson Spivey, Dennis Jenkins, Jr., Paul

Jenkins, Naaman Spivey, Jerrod Spivey, and Keyshawn Spivey; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
