Leondus Fidal McDonald was the fourth child born to George “GD” McDonald and Ola Mae McDonald. Leondus was raised in Italy, TX, and attended school in the Italy Public School District. At an early age, Leondus accepted Christ and was a member of The Coming of Christ Full Gospel Church, Italy, TX.
Leondus was blessed to father three beautiful daughters (Alyssa, Chasity, and Aaliyah) whom he adored. He worked in the oil field and was a construction laborer.
Leondus was a fun-loving person who had a smile that would light up the room. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Leondus is preceded in death by both parents, George “GD” McDonald, Ola Mae McDonald, brother Stephone McDonald and sister Carolyn Scott.
Left to cherish his legacy are daughters; Alyssa Michele McDonald (mother Sara Clark) of Houston, TX, Chasity Nicole Waterhouse (mother Vickie Jackson) of Longview, TX and Aaliyah McDonald (mother Debra Gilmore) of Grapeland, TX; sisters Kathy Scott of Bremond, TX and Patricia Taylor (Anthony) of Desoto, TX; aunts Edwina Butler, Palestine, TX, Alma Faye Jamerson, Los Angeles, CA, Ester Fain, Elkhart, TX; Uncles Edell Shepher, Los Angeles, CA, Larry Overshown, Dallas, TX, Lottie Overshown, Lufkin, TX, Esther Fain, Elkhart, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.
