Leroy Davis, was born in Crockett, Texas on January 26, 1963, to Cleroy Lee James Davis and Leroy Davis, Sr. Leroy attended Crockett High School and was affiliated with Church of the Living God, Crockett, Texas. He was a city worker with the Burk Center of Crockett, Texas.
Leroy was loved by all his neighborhood and friends. He loved all sorts of Westerns. Leroy was a big Chicago Bulls fan - he loved basketball and also watching football.
He enjoyed talking and interacting with people - he never met a stranger. He was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Leroy transitioned at Woodland Heights Hospital, Lufkin, Texas, on February 25, 2022 He will be truly missed.
Leroy is preceded in death by both parents Leroy Davis, Sr. and Cleroy Lee Davis; brothers Judge Davis, Otis Davis, Artie Davis, John Lee Davis, and Cleo Davis; sisters Gainelle Morrison, Rosetta Davis Walker and Minnie Faye Davis.
Left to carry Leroy’s memories is his only brother Tyrohne (Angelina) Davis, Houston, Texas; nephew Damian Richerson, Crockett, Texas; aunt Mamie Lee James, Austin, Texas; special friends Mr. & Mrs. Sonny and Arti Simon, Mary and Alexis Wyatt; and a host of other relatives and friends.
