Lonnel Mosley (65) made his grand entrance as the 8th child born to Mae Lee Walker Mosley and Albert Lee Mosley Sr., on March 13, 1952, in Grapeland, TX.
Lonnel accepted Christ at an early age and was raised in the communities of Grapeland and Elkhart. He attended Elkhart Schools, Tyler Junior College and served in the US Army as a Specialist H Four from 1973 – 1979. When he returned from the Army he made Elkhart his home and worked as a Carpenter.
Gardening was his passion, but he was known for his comedic talent that kept people laughing. There was never a dull moment when you were in the company of Lonnel. His jokes and dancing entertained everyone.
On March 20, 2017, Lonnel danced into heaven transitioning peacefully surrounded by family at Greenbrier Nursing Home, in Palestine, TX.
