Louella Leday Walker

Louella Leday Walker was born on January 21, 1944, in Kinder, Louisiana to Ivory Leday Sr. and Mary Batiste Leday. She embarked on a career in finance with Panhandle Eastern Corporation, JP Morgan Chase Bank and Houston Community College. She loved spending quality time with her family and friends. After retirement, she spent most of her time with her great grandchildren, traveling to different tournaments and living life.  

Louella also known as Bae was a wonderful woman. She was hardworking, loving, and a protector to her friends and family. She was the person you could count on if you needed advice, the truth, or just a shoulder to cry on. She always stood up for what she believed in, she would always greet you with a beautiful smile, and she would give anyone she cared about the clothes off her back. It was a blessing to have her in your life.

Louella flew her wings on September 1, 2024, to join her parents, along with her brother Ivory Leday Jr and sister Mary Jane Dawson She is survived by her daughter and sons, Susan Walker, Clarence Walker Jr and Christopher X. Walker(Liz), her two granddaughters and grandson Victoria Walker, C’Nae Walker and Justice Walker her great grandchildren Chase Walker, Chassidy Walker, Kevin Damon II and Zoie Walker her sisters Louertra LaFleur(Bill), and Ruby Barber(Charlie), and brothers, Nelson Leday(Linda), and Joseph Leday, and a host of dedicated nieces, nephews, and many friends.
