Quention Dell Shaver (83) passed away Monday, November 7, 2022, at his home in Grapeland, TX. He was born March 5, 1939 in Latexo, TX. to parents Robbie Lee and O’dell Shaver. He worked with his father as an auto mechanic, was employed at Alcoa for many years, and owned Shaver Insurance until his retirement. He was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Grapeland and proud member of the Masonic Lodge #473.
Quention is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Shaver; mother, Robbie Lee Shaver; father, O’dell Shaver; brother-in-law, Leroy Wilkinson; and nephew, Kenny Wilkinson. He is survived by his son, Quention Shaver Jr. and wife Kris; daughter, Kim Turrubiarte and husband David; daughter, Sandy Hobson; sister-in-law, Lyndol Wilkinson; nephew, Chris Wilkinson. Quention also leaves behind grandchildren Shaver Huff and wife Meagan; Chance Huff and wife Racheal; Hollie Ruth and husband Chris; Abby Hobson and husband Clayton; Trip Hobson, Charles Turrubiarte, Traetin Turrubiarte; and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Quention was a people lover and cultivated a multitude of friends, most of which were life long, with whom he kept in touch until the end.
