Reginald Keith was born in Houston, Texas at Hermann Hospital. He was the fourth of seven children born to Arnold B. and Velma Wilmore. He graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1980 and shortly after joined the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by brother, Arnold B. Wilmore, Jr.; and father, Arnold B. Wilmore, Sr.
