Robert "Bob" Eckford Dreher, Jr. went home to be with his Lord on August 7, 2020 at the age of 76.
Robert is survived by his son and daughter-n-law, Shane and Heidi Dreher of Grapeland, TX; his daughter, Whitney Brummett of Whitehouse, TX; and his grandchildren Trey Dreher, Lane Dreher, Skyler Dreher, and Bailye Brummett. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Elizabeth A. McKinney; his parents; and his sister.
Robert was born on December 29, 1943 in Pasadena, Texas. He graduated from Deer Park High School and joined and proudly served in the Navy from 1962 to 1968. Bob loved serving our Lord and Savior. He was an active member of Deer Park Church of Christ for 42 years and after his retirement from Lubrizol, moved to Grapeland, Texas and became an active member of Grace Street Church of Christ. Bob loved singing for the Lord, his family and friends, and working on the farm. He will always be remembered as a hard worker and a loving Christian father, grandfather and friend who had the heart of a servant.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in his name to Grace Street Church of Christ or to the American Heart Association.
