Sabrina Yvette Simmons was born on July 22, 1977, in Grapeland, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Christine Tillis. She was the third child of three children. She met and married Rodregus Simmons and to this union two beautiful girls were born.
Sabrina joined The Church of The Living God at an early age and later joined House of Prayer. Sabrina went to Crockett High School and graduated in 1995. She received an Associate Degree in Human Services from Angelina College. She worked at the Crockett Elementary School and Crockett State School.
Sabrina was a loving woman, caring wife and devoted mother who loved her daughters dearly. Her smile would light up a room whenever she entered. She was soft spoken and hardly had to raise her voice because her looks said it all. Sabrina left personal words of wisdom with her girls and loved ones. Sabrina’s legacy will continue through her girls and her presence will be greatly missed.
Left to continue Sabrina’s legacy are her two daughters, Oshaunesy Simmons, and Aniah Simmons, both of Lufkin, TX; sisters, Mia (Jerome) Simpson, Crockett, TX, LaShonda Harris, Palestine, TX; parents Willie D. Tillis and Christine Tillis, Crockett, TX; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
