Shirley Ann Luce was born on August 12, 1942, in Elkhart, Texas, to Clarence and Mary Peevy West.
On December 2, 1957, she married the love of her life, Jimmy Carrol Luce. Together they built a life centered on faith and family as she lovingly devoted herself to raising their five children.
Shirley was a faithful and devoted member of Union Chapel in Grapeland, Texas. Her faith guided her life and was reflected in the kindness and grace she showed to everyone she met.
She was a sweet soul whose greatest joy was loving her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her love will live on for generations.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Carrol Luce, and two grandsons, James Carrol Watson and Kyle Steven Shaver.
Shirley leaves two sons, Jimmy (Linda) Luce and Ricky (Kristin) Luce; and three daughters, Mary (Pete) Watson, Carolyn (Dale) Lucas, and Candice (James) Acord; one brother, Fred Dickson; thirteen grandchildren, James Watson, Cade Watson, Andrew Luce, Cody Luce, Heather Chipman, Jennifer Blakely, Jimmy Lucas, Keith Luce, Amanda Luce, Clay Luce, Lillie Luce, Barney Bryan and Christopher Bryan; twenty-six great grandchildren; and eighteen great-great-grandchildren.

So sorry for your loss. She was a Beautiful Sweet Lady who will be forever missed! I called her Grandma Luce even though she wasn’t my grandma, but she was just like a grandma to me!
