Shirley Minter Streetman, 71, of Latexo, went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2020, at Windfield Nursing Home in Crockett. Shirley was born on February 14, 1949 in Crockett to parents Wade Minter, Jr. and Joyce Minter.
Shirley lived in the Crockett/Latexo area all her life. She worked as a teacher’s aid and then as a secretary at Patsy Barney & Associates until she was unable to work due to her health. Her best memories were spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by husband of 43 years, Cecil Streetman of Latexo; their children, Rusty Harrison and wife Teresa of Tomball; Kim Grossmann and husband Eric of Latexo; Tom Streetman and wife Misty of Grapeland; Glen Streetman and wife Kristi of Grapeland; brother Danny Minter and wife Carey of Crockett; grandchildren, Kyle and Rylee Grossmann of Latexo; step-grandchildren Mike and Colton Streetman, Emily Streetman, Blake Davis, Cameron Dernick, Caroline Dernick, Kenzie Streetman and Steel Boyd; niece Brandy Minter Crowson; step-sister Sarah Hereford Dietrich, and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents Wade Minter, Jr. and Joyce Minter. Stepmom Johanna Minter, nephew Alex Jeffrey Minter; step-grandson Clayton Dernick; and special friend Bobbie Easley.
