Shumonica was the third child, proudly born to Alice Faye Conley and Harold Conley, November 10, 1978 in Crockett, TX, and is now resting after a full and abundant life.
She attended school at Crockett Independent School District. She was part of the class of 1997 and later earned her GED.
Shumonica was strong beyond belief. While fighting a lifetime battle of Sickle Cell Anemia, she maintained a soft spirit. She was a faith walker, who always had a positive outlook on life. Her life was a testimony that impacted many.
She will be remembered for many characteristics. Among those that come to mind are cook, certified nursing assistant, wife, mother, and most of all a woman of God, and a friend to many.
She was a member of Greater Gethsemane Baptist Church.
Shumonica entered into the gates of heaven, on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
She is preceded in death by both parents, Alice Faye Conley Ross and Harold Conley; and sister Aleasha Conley.
Left to continue Shumonica’s legacy is her husband; Anthony Castle, Sr.; son Anthony Castle, Jr., Crockett, TX; step daughter Barbara Lewis, Lufkin, TX, and goddaughter Halexus Breedlove, Crockett, TX; brother Eugene Dewayne (Ginger) Morgan, Corpus Christi, TX, Reginald Ross, Crockett, TX; best friend Deidra (George) Taylor, Crockett, TX; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
