Trence Vandra Johnson (50) was a happy baby boy born to Alma Johnson and Harry Scott on August 20, 1971, in Grapeland, TX. He accepted Christ at an early age, and united with his family’s home church, Rising Star Baptist Church. Trence attended schooling at Grapeland Independent School District; where he lettered in 3 sports: football, basketball and track. He graduated from Grapeland High School in 1989.
After high school Trence moved to Lufkin where he managed a Foot Locker for several years. Relocating to the Houston area he changed careers, becoming a service technician for Terminix Pest Control.
Trence was so much fun to be around. He had a loving, kind and gentle spirit. He was passionate about his family and loved bringing everyone together for the holidays. Trence loved to dress - a trait passed down to him by his loving mother, who he adored. He was a great example of a man for his children, who he was so very proud of.
Trence was a husband, father, paw-paw, brother, cousin and friend; whose infectious laugh and personality will be greatly missed!
