Coach Joseph Wesley Padgett was born in Mathis, TX, on February 13, 1958, to Marvin and Jackie Padgett.
Coach Padgett grew up in Corpus Christi, TX and was affiliated with the Episcopalian and Lutheran Church; and was a member of Boy Scouts, Little League and the Royal Order of the Moose in his earlier years.
He graduated from Corpus Christi State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree that answered his calling and love for sports.
Coach Padgett had many successful seasons as a baseball coach. His most recent position was with Grapeland High School.
