Bill Andrews (77) was born February 18, 1944, in Houston Texas, to Mattie and George Andrews. Bill was the oldest of six siblings. He graduated from Elkhart High School, then continued his education at SMU studying business.
Bill married Irene Tan Romo in the year 2000, and three loving children were born from their union. The family resided in his hometown of Elkhart, Texas. He also had two other children from a previous marriage.
Throughout his life, Bill found enjoyment in many things such as flying small-engine planes and fishing. What ultimately stood out for him was his passion and interest in automobiles. This deep interest led to him spending many of his years in the automotive scene. He later opened his own car sales business, to which he found great pride and devoted many years of his life to.
Bill passed Wednesday, February 2, 2022, but the memories he created with his family continue to live on.
Bill is survived by his wife, Irene Tan Andrews, Elkhart, TX, sons, Shawn Andrews, Garland, TX, William Leslie Andrews, II, Elkhart TX, daughters Asia Irene Andrews, and Selena Yvette Andrews, of Elkhart, TX, and Shannon Andrews, Dallas, TX; grandkids Stefan and Stevie Flurry, Kate and Anna Andrews; and greatgrandchild Caleb; brothers Duanne Andrews and wife Linda Lee Andrews, Palestine, TX and Danny Andrews, Dawson, TX; sisters Linda Renee Phillips, Lantana, TX, Donna Parks and husband Greg Parks, Jefferson, GA, and Elvie Hortman and Darrel Hortman, Palestine, TX.
