Wilma Lee Taylor Page was born April 17, 1933 the daughter of Beaulah Mae Davis Shepard and Zemeriah Taylor. Mrs. Wilma was a sister to 20 siblings, nine sisters and eleven brothers. She has four sisters and five brothers deceased and five sisters and six brothers surviving.
She attended school at WR Banks in Grapeland, Texas, and worked for Grapeland, ISD in food service for many years.
Wilma met and married George W. Page on March 3, 1961, and to this union 5 children were born.
She accepted Christ as a young lady under the leadership of Prophet Herman at The Church of the Living God in Grapeland, TX. Later she united with Bishop John L. McKnight with the Church of the Living God Gates of Heaven.
Mrs. Wilma Page was a Sunday school teacher, Sunday school Superintendent and Women’s state Supervisor for Texas. Mother Page was well loved. She was known for cooking and service to her community. She touched many lives and will be remembered as a great prayer warrior; a servant of the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Zemeriah Taylor, and Beulah Davis, husband George W. Page, sons Dean Page and John L. Page, daughter George Brown, sister Shirley Taylor and brother Bennie Taylor.
She leaves to continue her legacy, a son, Larry Harrington, Sr. of Grapeland, TX; daughters, Linnie Parker (Daniel), Killeen, TX, Leontine Scott (Ernest), Grapeland, TX, Debora Berry (Glyn), Tyler, TX; brothers Charles Taylor, Grapeland, TX, Thurman Davis (Alice), Dallas, TX, Wayne Taylor, Oak Park, IL, Eugene Taylor (Shirie), Grapeland, TX, Curtis Taylor, Latexo, TX, Stanley Taylor, Grapeland, TX; sisters Linda Taylor, Wanda Burney, and Delcina Groves all of Crockett, TX, Sandra Taylor, Latexo, TX, Nadine Lomax (John), Grapeland, TX; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousin Margie Thomas Davis.
