Alma Faye Taylor

February 23, 1954 - July 2, 2020 Alma Faye Taylor was born on February 23, 1954 to James Edward and Arvella Smith Taylor in Percilla, Texas. Alma was the oldest of seven children. Alma was raised in Augusta, Texas and attended Grapeland Public School. She accepted Christ early in life and united with Brewington Baptist Church in Augusta, Texas. She married Autrey Lee Bean on May 31, 1972. Their marriage was blessed with four sons, Marlon Glee, Renard Lethrail, Brandon Roland and Cranston Delee. She later married Albert Joe Berry and no children were born to this union. Alma attended Angelina Junior College where she received her Texas Nurse Aide Registry Certificate. She enjoyed helping take care of the residents at the different nursing homes where she was employed. Alma enjoyed cooking, planting her garden, playing dominoes, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. On July 2, 2020 in Tyler, Texas, Alma Faye left her earthly body to go to her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Brandon Roland, and three brothers, Lawrence Smith, Perry Smith, and Jerry Taylor. Alma will forever be lovingly remembered by her children, Marlon(Kenetra) Taylor of Lovelady, Texas, Renard and Cranston Bean of Crockett, Texas; three brothers, James and Ronnie Taylor of Augusta, Texas and Kenneth (Alicia) McKnight of Sugarland, Texas; four sisters, Bridgett and Beverly Taylor of Fort Worth, Texas, Dianne Davis of Crockett, Texas, and Barbara Polk of Palestine, Texas, one Godsister, Dorothy Witherspoon of Rancho Cucamonga, California; very special friend, Lois Bean of Crockett, Texas; sixteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
