Andrew Walker

Andrew B. Walker (84) of Grapeland, TX was born June 18, 1931. He was the firstborn to Walter B. and Daisy Moore Walker. He joined Rising Star Baptist Church at an early age and was a faithful member until his health failed. B. loved to fish, hunt, and had a gift for planting a garden and raising his own food. He was a loving caring and giving man who loved his family. God saw that he was tired and his earthly journey must end, so on February 25th, 2016, he sent his angels to bring him home. Andrew is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, and one (1) stepdaughter. Left to cherish his memories is daughter Annie Mall, sons Eckerd (Mary) Walker, Charlie (Linda) Walker, Andrew (Cynthia) Walker; sister Willie Mall Jackson, brothers Gus L. (Sandra) Walker, Eddie Lee Walker, George (Bobbie) Walker, Lee Arthur (Sue) Mosley, Wilbert Walker, Charles Walker, and the Mosley brothers and sisters; seventeen (17) grandchildren, twelve (12) great-grandchildren; two (2) special first cousins Jannie Lee Jones, and Zona B. Faulk; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. Services: Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 1:00 PM – Rising Star Baptist Church, Reverend Lawrence Brown Pastor, Reverend Jerome Simpson Officiating.
