Bert Robert Holland

Bert was born on January 12th, 1959, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to Audrey Nichols and Virgil Holland. He had a brother, Virgil Curtis Holland, who preceded him in death in 2006. He also had a sister, Rose Pearl Holland Walrath, and her husband, Olin Samuel Walrath of Goodrich, Texas. He treasured his sister and their relationship. She was like a mother to him. He often referred to her as "Annie". He graduated from Bolton High School in Alexandria, Louisiana. He met his wife Debbie Holland and had a son, Damon Robert Holland. Bert had a very prominent lawn service for many years. Later on, after divorcing, he spent some years working the pipeline, even traveling to Alaska. When he returned, he spent some time in Zwolle, Louisiana, and Jasper, Texas. In 2018, he moved to Crockett, Texas, where he enjoyed his dogs, family, and sitting in the yard talking to the squirrels. He had peace of mind knowing that he was part of the family that he joined when he moved here. He also got baptized through the United Pentecostal Church. He loved to spend time with his dogs, friends, and family. He enjoyed being Grandpa to Charles Jones. They spent a lot of time together watching sports, talking, and chilling. He left a good impact on Charlie, showing him that no matter who you are, you will always have a purpose. God took him home on June 22nd, 2025. No Services
