Wendell Wright

December 2, 1964 - March 11, 2020 Wendell Wright of Grapeland was born in Baytown, TX to Eldon and Sue Wright on December 2, 1964. He passed away on March 11, 2020. Wendell was a graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown. It was there that he learned the welding trade which would be his life-long career. He loved to weld, whether it be for work or a BBQ grill for a friend. Wendell attended First Baptist Church in Grapeland where he participated in many mission activities which were a source of great joy to him. He loved serving the Lord and he loved his church. Wendell was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Sue Wright of Grapeland. He is survived by his sister Cynthia Wright of Pasadena, TX. A memorial service was held on March 14 at the First Baptist Church of Grapeland. He will be sorely missed by both friends and family.
