William Stone

Mr. William David Stone (62) of Crockett, TX passed away peacefully in his home on August 25, 2015. David was born November 4, 1952, to William Doke and Agnes Stone in Houston, TX where he grew up and graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1972. On June 10, 1975, he married his life long sweetheart Carolyn Stone. They spent 40 happy years together before his battle with cancer. He spent his early career working in steel mills in the Lufkin and Longview area. In 1984 he moved to Crockett where he worked numerous jobs. He spent the last 15 years working at Quantex Instruments. Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife Carolyn Stone, daughters Jannette, and Christine; sister Mildred; grandchildren Jacob, Janessa, Robert, Christina, Amber, J.D.; great-grand Chelynn; special nephew Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones.
